Keep production records connected.

Batchwork is food and beverage ERP software: it connects suppliers, ingredients, lots, batches, customers, and shipments in one place. Production involves a lot of moving records, and Batchwork brings them together so businesses can follow the production chain and find the information they need when reviewing operations or tracing a batch.

Turn ingredient records into connected production batches.

Start production batches by recording the product, production date, expected yield, and ingredients used — with ingredient lot tracking software that deducts stock automatically and assigns a unique batch code. Record the actual yield later to recalculate cost per unit and identify the difference between expected and actual output.

Use expiry-aware ingredient selection.

Batchwork uses First-Expired, First-Out (FEFO) selection when choosing ingredient lots. When stock is spread across multiple lots, the system can split the quantity across available lots, starting with the soonest-expiring stock. Users can also select a specific lot when there is a reason to do so.

Follow the chain from ingredients to customers.

Batchwork functions as both food traceability software and recall management software: search for a batch code or ingredient lot code to see the connected production and shipment records. Trace a finished batch back to its ingredient lots and suppliers, or start with an ingredient lot to see which batches used it and which customers received those batches.

Example: recall traceability

Ingredient lot #OAT-2291 recalled by supplier

Search the lot code in Batchwork to instantly see every batch that used it, every customer those batches shipped to, and the exact quantities involved — including any voided records, which stay visible for the full trail.
